OK, more to come on this adventure, I promise. This was one of the most increddible dayhikes I have ever experienced in my life. The photo is of the “subway” feature of the Wildcat slot Canyo– we must have hiked, scrambled, rappelled, swum, through at least six different ecosystems in 7 hours.

Bryce Canyon

Not realizing Bryce Canyon is primarily a front country park and relatively small, we only spent a day hiking in Bryce before spontaneously dropping in on the Grand Canyon for a couple of days. The 24 degree nights might have influenced that decision… http://www.kentuckyvoice.com/murrayvoices.html

Delicate Arch

Delicate Arch, ANP

The oddly named Delicate Arch, since it appears to be one of the more stable ones in the park. It is quite dramatic, sitting on the edge of a massive ampitheater, sloping away from the view nearly an eighth of a mile.
